Who are you Red Shiso?

Native to Southeast Asia (its oldest use is as an edible oil in southern China), Shiso, also known as Perilla, is a leafy vegetable, herb, medicinal and ornamental plant. It has it all!

Gardener's tips

This plant is very easy to grow and requires little maintenance. Simply pick the leaves with a pair of Shiso (... oops, scissors), as and when you need them!

Questions & Answers

My Shiso takes a long time to germinate!

Shiso can be a little slower than its neighbours to sprout. If it's next to a variety like Basil, which is a fast grower, it may take even longer! If after two weeks you still have nothing, send us a picture from the support section of the application.
